China protects IP of Olympic Winter Games Bid

Recently, a bulletin of IP protection was released by Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games Bid Committee, to protect the Olympic Winter Games Bid logo and emblem. 

　According to the bulletin, the logo and emblem are in the scope of protection. The logo is made up by Chinese art character “冬” and English words “BEIJING 2022”, “Applicant City”; while the emblem is made up by Chinese art character “冬” , English words “BEIJING 2022”, “Applicant City”, and the Olympic rings. 

　According to Chinese laws and the rules of International Olympic Committee, Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games Bid Committee is the obligee of the logo and emblem. Anyone who infringes the copyrights of the logo and emblem would be brought to justice by the Bid Committee.
