Chinese National Meeting of Heads of IPR Administrations Held

On January 15th 2015, the national meeting of heads of IPR administrations was successfully held in Beijing, with 170 participators including officials from the central government and the State Council, members of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), heads of IPR administration department from all provinces, autonomous regions,provincial cities and municipalities in China, as well as representatives from state-owned enterprises. During the meeting, Shen Changyu, the Commissioner of SIPO, conveyed important instructions from the commissioner of state and delivered a report on the IPR Administrations. In the report, Commissioner Shen reviewed major progress for IPR administrations in China in 2014, meanwhile, elaborated eight key focuses for 2015. He stressed that IPR administration of all levels shall seize the opportunity for further development to enthusiastically build China into an intellectual property power.
