Anhui to safeguard famous trademarks

"According to the fight against fake products in recent years, well-known and famous trademarks are mostly infringed by law breakers," said Jin Qijian, Director of Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Commerce, on the afternoon of August 18.

This day, Provisions of the Identification and Protection of Anhui Provincial Famous Trademarks (draft) was first examined at the fourth meeting of the Standing Committee of the 11th Provincial People's Congress.

The Provisions stipulate the identification condition, declaration procedure, validity, and specific regulations on how to protect and manage famous trademarks, especially, the establishment and perfection of famous trademark right safeguarding system and usage feedback system, to offer legal support for the protection of famous trademarks.
