6th China International Patent Fair opens

The Sixth China International Patent Fair was unveiled on September 3 in Dalian.
The Fair is jointly organized by State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), Liaoning Provincial People's Government and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
The three-day fair brought 4,100 patents held by 15 international exhibition groups from 11 countries and regions like Russia, South Korea and Finland. Chinese delegations from 20 provinces attended the fair.
The organizing committee will hold patented technology lectures, intellectual property summit forum, judicial forum on U.S. IPR litigation practice, IPR assessment forum, forum on judicial IPR protection, etc..
Promotion meetings will be held to recommend patent projects for Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and domestic cities.
It is learnt that during the fair, Dalian Intermediate People's Court will try IPR infringement cases, and administrative departments will launch law enforcement against counterfeiting at the scene, so as to enhance social consciousness of IPR protection. [Chinese version is available on Cnr.cn]
