Forum on Online Copyright Protection to be held soon

As the world enters into the Internet era, we are confronting with opportunities as well as challenges in the copyright protection.

Currently, the copyright infringement via Internet has become more and more rampant, which is not only infringing the legal rights and interests of copyright holders, but also disturbing the normal order of Internet information distribution.

Under such background, it is urgent to raise the public's awareness of IPR protection and give instructions to right holders while they are infringed.

Therefore, a forum on online copyright protection, sponsored by website of IPR in China and Online Anti-piracy Alliance, will be held on July 30.

Deputy Secretary-general of State Office of Intellectual Property Protection (SOIPP) Wen Zaixing, Vice Director of Copyright Administration Department of National Copyright Administration Xu Chao and famous writer Yu Qiuyu, will be invited to the forum, to communicate with netizens on copyright issues.
