Venezuela launches Citizen Service System to promote IP protection

On 20th March, 2024, the Ministry of People's Power for Commerce of Venezuela launched an Integrated Citizen Service System (SIAC) through the website of the Autonomous Service of Intellectual Property (SAPI). This system facilitates the creation, submission and tracking of cases presented by citizens and new businesses, as well as the management of complaints, petitions and grievances.

This new tool aims to improve services to citizens and promote the socio-economic development of the country. At the same time, it encourages Venezuelans to protect their creations and inventions.
