Zhenjiang listed as trial district for IP pledge loan

According to Zhenjiang Intellectual Property Office in Jiangsu Province, State Intellectual Property Office recently publicized the 3rd batch of trial districts for intellectual property (IP) pledge loan and Zhenjiang was included. It is reported that, besides Zhenjiang, there are 3 other districts included, including Pudong district in Shanghai, Tianjin, and Wuhan in Hubei.

Zhenjiang is one of the cities that carried out the IP pledge loan in earlier times, and in 2008, it launched “Administrative Measures of Zhenjiang on Financing by Patent Pledge Loan”. After becoming the trial district, Zhenjiang will assort with institutions of IP, financial guarantee, venture investment, and IP evaluation, carry out IP pledge loan, patent evaluation and trading, and so on, work up the system and mechanism for the IP pledge loan, IP evaluation system, venture evaluation and forewarning system, and use new model in IP financing and organize the communications between enterprises and banks.
